The State Of Education In India- The SSC Fiasco 2018
- More than 500 aspirants are on the roads to demand or to protest and demand a CBI Investigate
- SSC apologizing for canceling of exam due to technical failure
The recent SSC scam is one of the biggest scams that Indian youth are dealing with right now. Top social network sites are trending with Staff Selection Scam 2018 #sscscams. This is the first time in India when we can see student’s commotion on such a large scale. People from every corner of country are supporting them.
There are so many reasons due to which the SSC has come in the vision of students and the government but the recent reason is the Re-exam of quantitative aptitude exam for SSC CGL. SSC released an official notice on 21st of February 2018, apologizing for the technical failure by which SSC had to cancel the exam and after so many discussions from the regional office commission they decided to re-conduct the Quantitative aptitude exam on 9th of March 2018.
There are so many videos, images and tweets being circulated on social media which proves that some questions were leaked. Students hypothesized that cheating took place in examination hall. After the protest SSC decided to cancel the quantitative aptitude exam.
We can see protest everywhere by students on various platforms of social media. Students are very angry with the scam that they tweeted to Prime Minister of India for investigation of the matter in depth. They demanded the CBI Investigation of the mistakes by SSC.
On 5th of March Supreme Court said, it will hear on 12th of March about the allegation on alleged SSC exam Scam by investigation. Earlier also students were facing so many other errors like marked answers get unmarked and sometimes they have to re-filled the answers in some centers.
Now SSC has conducted an online format to the examination centers chosen by SSC. Security was very high in search of hidden items by which students were freaked. No one was allowed to carry bags, cell phone and watches, neither invigilator nor students.
According to the CBI investigation”It is most important to know the root cause and people involved in this scam. As per the current method, only small fishes are getting caught, but we want whales”.
Nationwide, all the protesters wore black clothes to the examination centers against the injustice. On the 10th day of protest all women tied black clothes on their hands and on mouth for demanding the justice against deep rooted corruption in the education system of India.
One of the protesters Ferdoz said to ANI “We demand an investigation into the deep-rooted corruption in recruitment for government jobs through the SSC. And from day one of the protest, the government has either been dodging the demand or trying to mislead the agitating students,"
India is developing in every sector but such scams show the real loop holes of our system which raise a big question on our the government. If the roots of the country’s education system are spoiled then how can it will give fruits of educated youth to the country?
